I FIORI DEL MARE

Nel mare, i fiori non hanno radici.
Crescono nel movimento dell'acqua, nella luce che filtra, nel tempo lento delle correnti.
Sono forme fragili e resistenti insieme, anemoni, coralli, creature leggere che si aprono e si chiudono come respiri.
Non sono fiori della terra. Sono fiori del mare:
delicati, luminosi, imprevedibili, cresciuti nel gesto lento della mano e nel tempo del filo.


In the sea, flowers have no roots.
They grow in the movement of water, in the filtered light, in the slow time of the currents.
They are forms both fragile and resilient—anemones, corals, light creatures that open and close like breaths.
They are not flowers of the earth. They are flowers of the sea:
delicate, luminous, unpredictable, shaped in the slow gesture of the hand and in the time of the thread.
